Terms of Service — Doers United

Last updated: October 25, 2026

1. About these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Doers United, our website at doersunited.com and our iOS and Android apps (together, the “Service”). Doers United is operated by The Doers Company, based in Cyprus (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. What Doers United is

Doers United is an event companion and networking app. Depending on the event and what its organizer has turned on, it gives you:

  • The event agenda, speakers, venue floor plans, the expo and organizer announcements.
  • Superdoer AI, an assistant that answers questions about the event.
  • Networking: AI-powered recommendations of people to meet, connection requests and messaging.
  • An event chat open to everyone who joins the event.
  • Your profile, video introduction and digital business card.
  • A history of the events you attended and the people you met.

We also offer tools for event organizers to publish and run their events on Doers United.

3. Your account

  • You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
  • You can sign in with your email address and a one-time code, or with Google. Keep access to your email and Google account secure: anyone with access to them can sign in to your Doers United account.
  • The information on your profile must be accurate and about you. Do not create an account for someone else or impersonate anyone.
  • You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us straight away at info@thedoerscompany.com if you think someone else has accessed it.

4. Events and organizers

  • Events on Doers United are organized independently by their organizers. Unless we say otherwise for a specific event, we are not the organizer and are not responsible for how an event is run, its content, its venue or any changes to it.
  • Event details such as the agenda, speakers, floor plans, exhibitors and announcements come from the organizer. We show them as provided and cannot guarantee they are accurate or up to date.
  • When you join an event, the organizer can see that you are attending and the profile information needed to run the event, as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • Organizers may approve, decline or remove attendees, and may cancel or change their events.
  • Each event may also have its own rules or terms set by its organizer, which you agree to follow when you attend.

5. Tickets, payments and Doer+

  • Some events charge for tickets, and we offer an optional paid membership, Doer+. Prices are shown before you pay. Payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe; we do not store your full card details.
  • Refunds for event tickets follow the organizer’s policy, unless the law requires otherwise. If an event is cancelled, contact the organizer or us and we will help you get the refund you are entitled to.
  • Doer+ gives you the benefits described at the time you sign up, such as joining eligible events with your membership. Its billing period and how to cancel are shown when you subscribe.
  • Nothing in these Terms limits the rights you have under consumer protection law.

6. AI features

  • Superdoer AI answers using the information the event organizer has provided, such as the agenda, floor plans and FAQs. Networking recommendations and “why you matched” explanations are generated from the profiles and preferences people share on Doers United.
  • AI-generated answers and recommendations can be incomplete or wrong. Check important details, such as times, locations and safety information, with the organizer, and use your own judgement before acting on a suggestion.
  • Do not use the AI features to generate unlawful, harmful or misleading content, or to try to extract information about other people that they have not chosen to share.

7. Networking and community rules

Doers United works because people can trust who they meet. When you use the Service, you agree not to:

  • Harass, threaten, discriminate against or abuse anyone, online or at an event.
  • Send spam, unsolicited bulk messages or repeated unwanted contact, or use connections and chats mainly for mass sales outreach.
  • Share content that is illegal, sexually explicit, hateful, violent, or that infringes someone else’s rights.
  • Share other people’s personal information without their permission.
  • Copy, scrape or harvest profiles, contact details or other data from the Service, by automated means or otherwise.
  • Interfere with the Service, try to access accounts or data that are not yours, or get around our security or limits.
  • Use the Service for anything unlawful or fraudulent.

You can block or report anyone who behaves badly. We review reports and may remove content, limit features or suspend accounts that break these rules.

8. Your content

  • You keep ownership of the content you add to Doers United, such as your profile, photos, video introduction, business card, messages and posts.
  • You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, display and process that content only as needed to run, improve and promote the Service. For example, this lets us show your profile to attendees of events you join and to people you may want to meet, and power the AI features. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where others have already received it (such as messages you sent) or we must keep it by law.
  • You are responsible for your content and confirm you have the right to share it.
  • If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.

9. Calendar integration

If you connect your Google Calendar, you allow Doers United to create, update and remove calendar entries for events you join or save, on your behalf. You can disconnect it at any time from your Google Account.

10. Our rights

The Service, including its software, design, logos and the Doers United name, belongs to us or our licensors. These Terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the Service as intended; they do not give you any other rights in it.

11. Third-party services

The Service relies on and links to services run by others, such as Google, Stripe, our messaging and hosting providers, and organizers’ own websites. Their own terms apply to your use of them, and we are not responsible for them.

12. Privacy

How we collect and use personal data, and your rights under the GDPR, are explained in our Privacy Policy.

13. Suspension and closing your account

  • You can delete your account at any time in the app. Deleting it removes your profile from the Service; see the Privacy Policy for what we keep and for how long.
  • We may suspend or close your account, or remove content, if you break these Terms, if we are required to by law, or to protect other users or the Service. Where reasonable, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.

14. Availability and changes to the Service

We work to keep Doers United available and accurate, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”. We may change, add or remove features, and the Service may sometimes be unavailable because of maintenance or issues beyond our control.

15. Liability

  • To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profits, opportunities or data, or for loss caused by events, organizers, other users or third-party services.
  • To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or €100 if that is more.
  • Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or your rights as a consumer.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version here with a revised “Last updated” date and, for significant changes, tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that, the updated Terms apply.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, and the courts of Cyprus have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer living in the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country and may bring a claim in its courts.
